Awal (theawal.ai) is built and operated by Solution Technology Qatar, a Doha-registered consulting firm trading as Soltech (soltech.qa), Palm Tower B, Floor 41, West Bay, Doha, Qatar. Wherever this policy says "we" or "us", it means Solution Technology Qatar.
This page explains what we collect when you run a scan or get in touch, why we collect it, who else touches it, and how to ask us to delete it, in plain English, not legal boilerplate.
What we collect
We only ask for what running a scan or answering your enquiry actually needs, nothing more.
- Business details, for a scan
- The business name, website, city, and any other details you enter into the scan form. We use this to query each AI engine and Google the same way a customer would.
- Your email, to sign you in
- Awal doesn't use passwords. When you sign in to see your scan history or manage your account, we email you a one-time code and store your email address so we can verify it and let you back in next time.
- Your email, to follow up
- If you contact us through the contact form, a "book a call" request, or a lead form on the site, we keep your name, email, and message so we can reply.
How we use it
- To run your scan across each AI engine and Google, and show you the results.
- To reply to an enquiry you've sent us, or follow up on a scan or a call you've asked for.
Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of specialist providers to run Awal. Each one only receives the data it needs to do its specific job, and none of them are allowed to use it for their own purposes.
The AI engines we measure
To show you what AI says about your business, we send your business details as a query to each engine below, the same way a real customer would ask. We don't send your email address, account details, or payment information. We only send what a query needs.

Our Google search data provider
We use a third-party search-data provider to check how your business appears in Google organic results, Maps, and AI Overviews.
Our email delivery provider
Login codes and replies to your enquiries are sent through a transactional email provider, which delivers the message on our behalf and doesn't use your address for anything else.
We do not sell your personal data, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing or advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your scan history and account details for as long as your account is active, so you can come back and see past results without rescanning.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time. See "Reach us" below. Once we've verified the request, we'll remove your account and scan data, except where we need to keep a record for accounting or legal reasons.
