How buyers use it
Someone choosing a dental clinic or comparing environmental compliance auditors asks ChatGPT directly: "who handles X in Qatar" or "best dental clinic in Doha for a first visit." ChatGPT answers in a few sentences, sometimes naming two or three businesses, and the conversation moves on. There's no results page to scroll past. You're either in that answer or you're not.

The honest caveat
This tests ChatGPT while it's actively searching the web, not the fixed knowledge it learned during training. The two can disagree. If your site or listings aren't crawlable, ChatGPT Search won't surface you, even if the underlying model has heard of your business.
